We'll capture your companion's quirky qualities on canvas to admire and remember forever. We paint with the highest grade artist's acrylics on 1 3/8" deep stretched canvas. It's stapled on back in a gallery wrap, and painted on all sides so it arrives ready for hanging with no framing required.
The turnaround time is 2 to 4 weeks. A little more lead time may be needed around the holidays. If you absolutely need it for a particular date, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your requests.
How To Commission a Pet Portrait
Fill out the PaintyPets Order Form and tell us about your pet. Also send several good photos. You can attach them in the order form or email Maddie your attachments if they're over 100kb. To send actual prints request our mailing address. We return all prints with the finished portrait. We will contact you to discuss ideas.
Payment and Free Shipping
We get started with a 50% deposit. As we near completion, we will email a photo of the portrait, make any minor changes you need. When you're happy with it we request the final half. We cover the shipping and handling for orders within the US. Express shipping and gift wrapping is available.

Good natural daylight is best and if its coming from one side, even better. Flash does not make for nice photos. Get down to their eye level and zoom in or get close. The eyes are important so let us see detail. You don't have to get them to smile but please give a little treat from us when they're done.
